1. Who we are

Maczo operates an ads marketplace for Telegram channel owners and advertisers. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your rights.

2. Data we collect

  • Account: your Telegram user id, first/last name, username, photo URL — supplied by Telegram on login.
  • Channels: chat id, title, username, member count, language, category, sponsored-post history.
  • Wallets: USDT wallet addresses you submit; we never collect private keys.
  • Activity: claims, posts, view-count snapshots, click events.
  • Click events: IP, user-agent, country (from CF / Vercel headers), referrer, UTM params, device, browser.
  • Advertiser business info: company name, contact email/phone (you provide).

3. Why we collect it

  • To operate the Service (match offers to channels, count views, pay earnings).
  • To prevent fraud (datacenter / bot detection, fingerprint dedup).
  • To compute quality scores, tier promotion, and analytics.
  • To send transactional notifications (email, Telegram DM, in-app).
  • To comply with tax and AML obligations where applicable.

4. Cookies & local storage

We set the following cookies:

  • maczo_session — encrypted session token (httpOnly, 30 days).
  • mczo_ref / mczo_clid — referral attribution (90 days, dropped on signup).

We don't use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.

5. Who sees your data

  • Workspace admins see data scoped to their workspace only.
  • Advertisers see publisher channel stats but never the publisher's personal info beyond display name.
  • Public channel profiles (only if you opt in) show stats, audience description, and showcased posts.
  • Subprocessors: cloud hosting, blockchain RPC (TronGrid), optionally Resend (email), optionally an LLM provider you select.

6. Data retention

We retain account data while the account is active and for up to 7 years afterward for tax/audit reasons. Click event logs are retained for 12 months. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal holds.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to specific processing. Email privacy@maczo.co to exercise any of these.

8. International transfers

Our infrastructure may be hosted across multiple regions. Where applicable we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms for transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app and via email at least 7 days before they take effect.
